Night-Time Mill & Overlay Project Shines.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of a critical night-time mill and overlay project on Rt 322 in Chester County. This project, part of a new development by our Site division, showcases our commitment to quality, efficiency, and teamwork in action.

The project unfolded over two nights, each bringing its own set of challenges and triumphs. On the first night, our trusted partners at Rota-Mill, Inc. took center stage, expertly handling the milling phase. Their precision and reliability on large-scale projects continue to impress us, setting a solid foundation for what was to come.

As the sun set on the second night, our own crews stepped into the spotlight. The afternoon saw our first team meticulously preparing the site, while our night crew worked tirelessly through the dark hours, laying down a flawless 1.5" overlay. Their dedication ensured the project's timely completion, demonstrating the round-the-clock commitment that sets Lyons & Hohl apart.

Of course, no project of this magnitude succeeds without a stellar supporting cast. Flagger Force deserves high praise for their vigilant management of traffic flow and safety protocols, creating a secure work environment for all involved. Our hired trucks played an indispensable role, with special thanks to Ron & Josh Eckman, Poor Boys Trucking, Willow Run Farm, AJH Trucking, Landis Excavating, Tyler Trout, MJK Transport, and Evan Cook for their unwavering support during the night shift.

As the night went on, Guidemark put the finishing touches on our work, re-striping all road lines to ensure safe traffic patterns until the final striping happened on another day. Their attention to detail was the perfect capstone to this collaborative effort.

This project serves as a shining example of what can be achieved when expertise, teamwork, and dedication converge. From the initial milling to the final stripe, every phase of the operation showcased the best of what the road construction industry has to offer.

Yet, at the heart of this success story is our incredible Lyons & Hohl Paving team. Your unwavering commitment, skillful execution, and professional approach continue to be the bedrock of our success. We're deeply grateful for your consistent ability to go above and beyond, delivering exceptional results that uphold our reputation for excellence.

As we reflect on this project, we're reminded of the positive impact our work has on the communities we serve. Improved roads mean safer travels, smoother commutes, and enhanced quality of life for local residents. It's this knowledge that drives us to maintain our high standards on every project we undertake.

Looking ahead, we're excited about the future projects that await us. With our dedicated team, trusted partners, and commitment to quality, we're ready to take on whatever challenges come our way, continuing to pave the way for progress in Chester County and beyond.
